Orders

How long until my order ships?

Within 1–2 business days from our Montréal facility. You'll get a tracking number by email when the label prints. Orders placed over the weekend go out on Monday.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If the order hasn't shipped yet (usually a 12–18 hour window), email us and we'll swap items, change the address, or cancel it. Once a tracking number exists, we can't recall the shipment — but you can always return it.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Every Boty order ships in a plain FSC-certified recycled box with a handwritten compliments slip. During Q4 we add a cotton ribbon and a blank notecard at no charge; leave your gift message in the order notes.

My order says delivered but I didn't receive it.

Give it 48 hours — carriers occasionally mark items delivered a day early. If it still hasn't arrived, email us with your order number and we'll file a claim and ship a replacement.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the United States, Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia, and most of Asia and Latin America. If checkout doesn't show your country, email us — we can usually add a destination within a week.

How much does shipping cost?

Free in the US on orders over $50 (CA$65 in Canada). Otherwise $6 standard / $18 express in the US and CA$6 / CA$15 in Canada. See the full Shipping & Returns page for international rates.

What's your return policy?

30 days from delivery, even on opened products, with a full refund to your original payment method. Return shipping is free for US and Canadian orders.

Something arrived damaged. What now?

Take a photo of the outer box and the product, email us within 7 days of delivery, and we'll ship a replacement. You don't need to return the damaged item.

Products & formulas

Are Boty products cruelty-free and vegan?

Every product is Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free. Most are vegan — the only exceptions are a handful of products that contain honey or beeswax (noted clearly on the product page and on our Ingredients page).

Are your products fragrance-free?

Most are — we flag them with a "fragrance-free" tag on the product page and you can filter the shop by it. A few products carry natural essential oils (rose floral water, orange peel), and three products use a light parfum where the formula benefits from it (Superfood Gel Cleanser, Tinted Glow SPF 40, Algae Body Oil). Whichever it is, it's on the label.

What's safe during pregnancy?

Every product page lists whether it's pregnancy-safe. The broad strokes — though you should still run specifics by your own OB, since they know your history:

  • Vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, peptides, mineral SPF — yes.
  • Retinol, high-strength BHAs — no.
  • Low-strength AHAs, enzyme masks, modern chemical UV filters (avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene) — most OBs consider these safe in normal topical use, but ask your specific OB to confirm.

How do I patch test a new product?

Apply a pea-sized amount behind your ear or on your inner forearm, wait 24 hours, and check for redness or irritation. For actives (retinol, acids, vitamin C), patch test and then introduce the product 2–3× per week before going daily.

Can I use vitamin C and retinol together?

Yes, but not at the same time. Use vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night. Stacking both at once can dry the skin out and doesn't make either work better.

How should I store my products?

Out of direct sunlight, below 25°C / 77°F. Our vitamin C serums and oils keep longest in a cabinet or drawer, not on a windowsill. The Pure C Serum specifically has a 6-month shelf life after opening — we print the fill date on the bottle.

Where do you manufacture?

Formulation happens in Montréal. Production runs across our own facility and a small group of audited partner labs in the United States and France — each chosen for the equipment a given formula needs (cold press for oils, regulated lines for SPF, etc.). Single-origin botanicals come from where they grow best (rose from Bulgaria, squalane from Chile, manuka from New Zealand). Country of manufacture is published on every product page.

Account & payments

Do I need an account to check out?

No — guest checkout is fine. An account just makes it easier to track orders and start returns without digging through emails.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. In the US we also accept Afterpay for orders over $50.

Is my card charged at checkout or at shipping?

At checkout. If you cancel before shipment we issue a full refund, usually within 1–3 business days.
